In a heartwarming and hilarious surprise, Olivia Rodrigo joined Jimmy Kimmel and his kids, Jane and Billy, on their drive to school one morning. The Grammy Award-winning singer was “hitchhiking” on the side of the road when Kimmel pulled over to pick her up.
Jane and Billy were stunned to see their favorite singer in the back seat of their car. “Oh my God, Billy, it’s Olivia Rodrigo!” Jane exclaimed. Billy, on the other hand, had a different reaction. “Punch him in the penis!” he quipped.
Rodrigo laughed at Billy’s response and assured Jane and Jimmy that he’s always been that way. She then asked Jane what her favorite song was. Jane replied that she really liked “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl.”
“I love that song too, that’s so sweet, thanks for letting me know.” Rodrigo replied.
Rodrigo and Jane then sang “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl.” Billy eventually joined in, and the three had a blast singing along together.

Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, sat in the front seat and watched the show, smiling and laughing. At one point, Kimmel turned to the camera and said, “This is the most enjoyable drive to school ever.”
After the song was over, Rodrigo asked Jane and Billy if they had any other requests. Jane asked for “Good 4 U,” and Rodrigo was happy to oblige. The three of them sang along at the top of their lungs, and Jimmy and Molly joined in too.
By the time they arrived at school, Jane and Billy beam with excitement. They thanked Rodrigo profusely for the surprise sing-along, and she hugged them both.
