A manhunt is underway for Robert Card, a 40-year-old former army reservist and firearms instructor. Robert Card is wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine. The shooting left at least 18 people dead and dozens injured on Wednesday night.
The shooting rampage occurred at two locations: a bowling alley and a bar. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing people fleeing in panic.
A third shooting was also reported at a Walmart distribution center, but it was unclear if it was related to the other incidents.
Police identified Card as a person of interest in the case and warned the public that he was “armed and dangerous”. They released photos of him holding a semi-automatic rifle and a white SUV he may have driven.
According to law enforcement sources, robert had a history of mental health issues and was committed to a mental health facility for two weeks in 2023.

Maine’s governor, Janet Mills, expressed her condolences to the victims’ families and urged residents to stay safe and alert. “As we learn more about this horrific situation, I ask everyone to pray for the victims and their families,” she said.
